Self-locking knotless suture in LONG, MID absorption and Permanent.

This is the Symmcora® Mid version. Available in two formats: one way for unidirectional system and bidirectional with double needle.

It can be used in different surgical specialties where continuous suturing technique is required.

Practical, fast and safe, it does not require knots and guarantees a high seal together with a constant distribution of tension along the section of approximation of tissues.

The tissue adhesive Histoacryl^® consists of monomeric n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate, which polymerizes quickly in connection with tissue fluid.

PremiCron® is intended for use in soft tissue approximation of the wound edges to render possible an undisturbed wound healing.

PremiCron® is indicated for use in general surgery, cardiovascular and vascular indications and reconstructive and plastic surgery, when surgical practice requires the use of a non-absorbable suture material.

PremiCron® is intended for adult patients regardless of gender who do not meet any contraindication.

Optilene® is a sterile non-absorbable monofilament surgical suture made of polypropylene and polyethylene.

Available in blue for a better visibility.

Optilene® is offered with RacePack® and LongPack® packaging presentations to reduce the memory effect.

Other special presentations, including PremiPatch® PTFE pledgets, are also available.

Silkam® is a non-absorbable, braided and coated suture, made of natural silk filaments.

Silkam® is basically indicated for applications where it is surgical practice to employ non-absorbable suture material.

Silkam® is available in black and white.

Steelex® Sternum-Set is a non-absorbable corrosion resistant steel monofilament to which a fixed or rotating needle (axial) is attached. Steelex® Sternum-Set is available in sternum, short cutting and blunt point needles.

Also available in polyester sutures (PremiCron®) to improve handling and knotting properties.

The Electrode Set is a temporary cardiac pacing wire used to treat arrhytmias during and after open heart surgery.

It consists of a twisted stainless steel, multistrand wire partially insulated with a sheath of blue or white polyethylene.

Premilene® Mesh is a mesh implant for re-inforcement of connective tissue structures.

It is constructed from monofilament polypropylene, that has been knitted to a thin and elastic shape-stable mesh.

After implantation the Premilene® Mesh adapts to the longitudinal and latitudinal expansions taking place in the connective tissue. Premilene® Mesh does not possess any independent pharmacological properties.

The polypropylene mesh is biostable and is not degraded in the body.

The C3 CryoSystem is used for pain treatment through cryoanalgesia.

The integrated stimulator allows precise localisation of motor and sensory nerves.

It includes a patient management feature in which treatment protocols can be stored with individual comments.

The system also offers connectivity options for a foot switch and keyboard.

Suprasorb X + PHMB is an antimicrobial wound dressing that acts against a broad spectrum of pathogens, such as MRSA and VRE*. Very rapid and virtually complete release of polyhexanide (PHMB) from the dressing has been demonstrated in vitro within 24 hours.

Depending on the wound status, Suprasorb X + PHMB either donates moisture to the wound or absorbs excess exudate. This creates a moist environment perceived by patients as pleasant and pain-relieving.

Suprasorb A + Ag reduces the microbial load directly in the wound bed and is therefore especially suitable for wounds that are infected or at risk of infection – including MRSA or VRE.

In addition to having these properties, Suprasorb A + Ag is also a soft and supple wound covering that readily conforms to any wound bed.

Suprasorb P sensitive is a multi-layer silicone foam dressing that promotes wound healing and improves the condition of the wound bed.

Efficient exudate management reduces maceration and protects the skin surrounding the wound. Longer dressing change intervals free up time for carers.

In open treatment especially, thermal injuries and large wounds require functionally appropriate material to ensure positioning and gentle treatment of the patient.

Metalline large-format dressings and cloths are available as aids for a wide variety of treatment situations from first aid to the care of long-term or permanently bedridden patients.

Exudate is rapidly absorbed through the perforations on the polyethylene film.

Solvaline N is low-adherent and thus allows virtually painless and atraumatic dressing changes.

Lomatuell H is a ready-to-use mesh tulle, saturated with white Vaseline for gentle treatment of superficial wounds.

This product protects superficial wounds from adhesion and promotes exudate drainage.

This enables atraumatic dressing changes and supports the natural course of healing.

Lomatuell Pro is a non-adhesive, flexible wound dressing with an open net structure and good exudate drainage into the secondary dressing (wound contact layer).

The product consists of a synthetic tulle saturated with a polymer matrix that contains lipids and hydrocolloids.

Absorbent activated charcoal dressings are intended to be used for absorption wound exudate and binding of odorous substances contained in the absorbed wound exudate.

They can be used on infected wounds as a secondary dressing in combination with a suitable wound filler/primary dressing with antimicrobial properties More pleasant for patients and users thanks to odour reduction.

Vliwaktiv Ag combines the odour-binding characteristics of activated charcoal with the antimicorbial action of the silver.

Available as absorbent dressing and rope.

The product is suitable for the treatment of critically colonized wounds, infected and/or offensive smelling wounds and wounds with an increased risk of infection.

Fully enclosed multi-layer dressing with very high absorption capacity for the treatment of wounds with high levels of exudate.

Thanks to its especially soft nonwoven cover, Vliwazell Absorbent Dressings are highly skin-friendly and gentle on wounds.

Vliwasorb Pro is a superabsorbent dressing for wounds with moderate to very high levels of exudate.

The very high absorption and retention capacity of Vliwasorb Pro protects wound edges from maceration.

Vliwasorb Pro promotes wound healing by maintaining a moist wound environment.

Superabsorbent polymers absorb many times their own weight in liquid and scarcely release any retained exudate, even under mechanical pressure. The wound edges are protected from maceration.

Vliwasorb can be used to excellent effect under compression bandages.

Vliwasorb saves time and money thanks to fewer required dressing changes.

Curafix i.v. Control consists of a stabilising nonwoven border laminated with a film. The transparent viewing window makes it possible to observe and monitor the puncture site while minimising the risk of maceration thanks to the highly breathable film used.

 The one-piece counterfixation element with a V-shaped cutout can be moulded to fit the designs of single and multilumen catheters.

Curafix i.v. Control is ergonomically shaped and consists of a stabilising border made from nonwoven/film laminate.
